About Us

This website is for the members of the Norfolk Police UNISON Branch. Each UNISON branch is run by a committee which consists of members elected to take on different roles. For example, it is your local UNISON equal pay rep and branch treasurer who build the union and work to win everyone a better deal.

Branches hold regular meetings, including an annual general meeting. This is how people get elected to the branch committee and other UNISON structures.

To see who are the current Norfolk Police Unison Branch commitee members please visit our Reps page click here.  Also find our details in the UNISON Branch Directory.

Regions

UNISON branches are grouped into 12 regions which cover the UK.

Each region has its own head office and a regional council made up of delegates from all branches in the region.

The regional council develops policies and puts them into action regionally. It's the main link between neighbouring branches and between branches and UNISON's national executive council.

Your regional office can help put you in touch with your local branch and workplace reps. It can also tell you about education and training courses and how to get involved in local and national campaigns.

You'll find some regions have their own websites.
