Dear Friends

Another year has flown by, a year when 48 of our colleagues were put a risk of redundancy and 9 were made redundant and over the months and years ahead none of us will be untouched by the challenges facing Constabulary.

As you know, I meet regularly with Chief Constable Gormley, Deputy Chief Constable Bailey, and Director of HR Rachel Webb, and also jointly with Suffolk UNISON colleagues - be reassured that they always listen to what I have to say and please be reassured that I will continue to fight for the best outcome for us all, collectively and individually.  

I must use up some annual leave so I’ve booked time off over Christmas but as always my phone - 07922054528 - is on 24/7, albeit always silent – please text me at any time and I will get back to you as soon as I can (please don’t leave a voicemail).

Let’s all have an enjoyable holiday time and come back refreshed for 2012.
