UNISON’s membership is made up of individuals from all walks of life and all parts of the world. Every one of these individuals are entitled to be treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Equality is about providing opportunities for all regardless of race colour, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, mental or physical disability etc…..basically everything.

Norfolk Police UNISON branch recognises that equality is a core trade union principle – we actively campaign for equality of opportunity in the workplace and in the wider community.

UNISON is the UK’s biggest public sector trade union and is proud of its record in winning equality, but we are not complacent – we will continue to promote equality and campaign to eliminate discrimination wherever it rears its ugly head.
